Substrate preparation
The substrate must be level, clean, free from cracks, have sufficient load-bearing capacity, tensile strength and compressive strength
Priming:
For moisture content of the concrete below 5%, PU Parquet 430 can be applied directly on the substrate without primer.
For 5% moisture content or higher, ELASTOTET PRIMER EP should be applied before the application of PU PARQUET 430.
Application of adhesive:
Use a toothed spreader to apply the adhesive to an area as big as can be covered within a period of 15 minutes.
Within this time, place the material to be glued in the adhesive bed and knock it down thoroughly.
The consumption of the adhesive largely depends on the roughness of the substrate. However, 0,8- 0,9 Lt/m2 of adhesive is usually sufficient.
The viscosity of the paste is temperature dependent. At low temperatures viscosity is higher, at high temperatures it is lower.
