Concrete: GRANDBOARD JF can be mounted on the concreting side against the formwork before inserting the first concrete segment and is left in place when the formwork is removed.
Then the following pour is casted directly against the GRANDBOARD JF, then later cut back the board to form the sealing slot.
In block and brick work: When laying brick or block work, GRANDBOARD JF should be mounted in such a way as to shape a sealing slot of the appropriate dimensions.
As a protection membrane: To provide a continuous protective layer over the waterproof membrane, GRANDBOARD JF should be installed, it can be bonded to the membrane using rubberized bitumen mastic or a double-sided adhesive tape.
