GRANDTEX A4000 is a plastomeric waterproofing membrane made from a mix of distilled bitumen modified with plasto elastomeric polymers based on atactic polypropylene, isotactic polypropylene, synthetic rubber, and stabilizing aggregate fillers. The compound is resistant to UV rays, thermally stable, and sufficiently flexible at low temperatures.
The reinforcement used for GRANDTEX A4000 membranes consists of a non-woven polyester mat stabilized with glass fibers, which provides the product with adequate mechanical properties and breaking elongation characteristics, as well as excellent dimensional stability. These characteristics allow the membranes to be used on surfaces that are mechanically and thermally stressed.
