MEMBRANE SHIELD are durable, light-weight, Semi-rigid and strong protection boards, for shielding waterproofing membranes from site damage or puncture by back-filling material.
MS are manufactured from selected fine aggregate bound in oxidized asphalt, encased between two layers of asphalt saturated glass fiber or Composite mat, to form a rigid, dense and strong board with high compressive strength capable of bearing typical foundation pressures of low risc construction up to three stories.
The high compressive strength of MS is capable of supporting the foundation reinforcements.
