The required thickness depends on the material used, and is calculated to achieve a roof U-Value not exceeding 0.3 W/m²·K as required by Estidama and Green Building regulations.

Minimum thickness by material:

  • XPS: 60mm minimum, preferred for roofs exposed to moisture
  • EPS: 80mm minimum, for flat roofs and walls
  • PIR: 50mm minimum, for tight spaces and ceilings
  • Spray polyurethane foam within the Barjeel-approved SAB® Tron Combo system: 60mm at 40-45 kg/m³ density, achieving a U-Value of 0.3 W/m²·K directly

The final thickness is confirmed during the free site inspection after calculating the actual U-Value for your building, to ensure compliance with approved regulations.
