    RBE Bituminous MasterProtect

    MasterSeal 618 is a non-fibrated rubberised bitumen emulsion coating that is suitable for the treatment of concrete, asphalt, metal, roofing felt, and other similar roofing surfaces whether flat, sloping or vertical.
    It is used for general damp-proofing of concrete, asbestos cement sheets, roofing felts, wood, etc. 
    It is a single component, solvent-free, and cold-applied coating that is easy to use and does not require skilled labor. It is supplied in 20 and 200-liter units.

    For slate roofs or where the roof is in poor condition, a reinforcing membrane should be incorporated into the coating. 
    The reinforcing fabric should be bedded in well to ensure good adhesion.

    The typical properties of MasterSeal 618 are:
    - Solids content: 35
    - Rubber content: 5
    - Specific gravity @ 25°C: 1.10
    - Drying times: Touch dry 2-3 hours, Hard dry 6 hours
    - Viscosity: 15-25 poises
    - Service temperature: -10°C to 85°C
