    HYDRO BAN® is a thin, load-bearing waterproofing and crack isolation membrane that does not require the use of fabric in the field, coves, or corners. It is a single-component, self-curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless waterproofing membrane. HYDRO BAN bonds directly to a wide variety of substrates.

    • Flood Test: Passes within 24 hours.
    • Fabric-Free Application: Does not require the use of fabric.
    • Direct Bonding: Bonds directly to metal, PVC, and ABS plumbing fixtures only.
    • Thin Profile: Cures to a thickness of only 0.020–0.030 inches (0.5–0.8 mm).
    • Color Change: Transitions from a light sage to an olive green when cured.
    • Anti-Fracture Protection: Provides protection against shrinkage and other non-structural cracks up to 1/8 inch (3 mm).
    • Performance Rating: “Extra Heavy Service” rating per TCNA performance levels (referencing ASTM C627 Robinson Floor Test).
    • Compliance: Exceeds ANSI A118.10 and A118.12 standards.
    • IAPMO Approved: Certified by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials.
    • Anti-Microbial Technology: Equipped with technology to inhibit microbial growth.
    • Rapid Drying: Allows for a faster time to tile installation.
