Liquid Membrane (ALM), a solvent-based, synthetic rubber modified, bituminous coating. When dried, it forms a continuous bituminous membrane that is resistant to weather, acids, and alkalis. ALM is easy to apply, reducing labor costs, and is recommended for waterproofing concrete and masonry surfaces above and below ground, as well as various other surfaces that require a flexible coating. Before applying ALM, the surfaces must be clean and primed, and it can be applied using a wood float, trowel, or squeegee. ALM can be cleaned with suitable solvents, and the coverage rate is approximately 1.5 kg/m² for each 1 mm of dry film thickness required
